How Pikiner Inc. handles personal information

This policy explains how Pikiner Inc. ("Pikiner", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit pikiner.com or gabion.dev, write to us, or call or message a phone number or messaging account operated by Pikiner, including WhatsApp accounts and assistants built with Gabion, our technology.

It also explains how we handle information that we process on behalf of the businesses we work with, which is described separately below.

• Information you send us, such as your name, work email address, company, role, and what you tell us about your product or enquiry, when you use a form on our websites or write to us.
• The content of calls and messages, such as what you say to an assistant and the text of messages you send, when you call or message a phone number or WhatsApp account operated by Pikiner.
• Contact details used in those calls and messages, such as your phone number and the profile name of your WhatsApp account.
• Technical information recorded when you visit our websites, such as your IP address, browser type, and the date and time of the visit, kept in server logs for security.

• To answer your enquiries and arrange meetings.
• To operate, test, and improve our products, including the telephony and messaging modules of Gabion.
• To keep our services secure and to prevent abuse and spam.
• To meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

Some calls and messages are answered by an AI assistant. The assistant always tells you that it is an AI. To understand and answer you, it converts speech to text while the call is in progress.

A call is recorded only after you are told and have agreed. If you prefer not to be recorded, you can say so, or write to us by email instead.

A person at Pikiner is always reachable by email at contact@pikiner.com.

We send text or WhatsApp messages only to people who have given us their phone number and agreed to receive messages from us. They relate to your enquiry or appointment, such as confirmations, reminders, and replies. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP, and stop WhatsApp messages by asking us to.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Businesses we work with may use our software or services, for example an assistant built with Gabion that answers their calls and messages. When we process personal information on behalf of such a business, the business decides why and how it is processed, and its own privacy policy applies.

We process that information only to provide the service to that business and according to its instructions, and we do not use it for our own purposes. If you have a question about it, contact the business. You can also write to us, and we will pass your request on.

Our websites use only cookies that they need to work: a security cookie that protects our forms against forged submissions, and a session cookie that is set when you change the display theme. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

We share information only as needed to run our services:

• with service providers that host and operate our systems, such as cloud hosting, email, AI model, telephony, and messaging providers, including WhatsApp, which is operated by Meta;
• when the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of the people who use our services and of the public.

An enquiry sent through a form on our websites is delivered as an email to our company mailbox and is not stored anywhere else.

Other personal information is kept only as long as it is needed for the purposes above or as the law requires, and is then deleted or anonymized.

Our websites are served only over encrypted connections, and access to our systems is limited to the people who need it. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to respond promptly to any incident.

You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, including what you sent us through WhatsApp, or to stop sending you messages. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law.

To make a request, email contact@pikiner.com and include the phone number or email address you used with us, so that we can find your information. We confirm when the request is done. We keep information after a deletion request only where the law requires it.

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

We may update this policy. The new version is published on this page, and the date at the top shows when it last changed.
